A few questions on this subject. Is this just for prospects that have been drafted and have played 0 NHL games? OR players that have played in the league but have less then 100 games a few examples :
2004 draft pick justin pogge, 0 NHL games played this would be the draft to pick him if you wanted to get him?
2005 draft pick bobby ryan has played 23 regular NHL games but less then 100 games is he drafted in the pro draft or is he still considered a prospect and drafted in the farm draft.
2005 draft pick devin setoguchi played 44 regular NHL games is he a pro draft eligible or is he farm draft material?
I just wanted to get a clearer picture of who goes where to help get a idea in drafting young players.

All those 3 guys are farm draft material. Anyone who has played less that 100 games can be drafted in the farm draft, and they can stay on your farm team until they play their 100th game. If the player is not called up to your pro team when they play their 101st game, they will be dropped from your team. They must be drafted in the NHL though, you can't draft Tavares for example. As well ther only limit on the pro draft is that the player is drafted in the NHL.
